What is The Reid Process™?
The Reid Process™ is a chemical process and method by which harmful carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions are captured and then blended with anhydrous ammonium (NH4) and water to produce ammonium carbonate (NH4) CO3. The ammonium carbonate solution containing the captured carbon is then reacted with the low value commodity gypsum (CaSO4) to produce high value end products.
